Anish Dahiya

Architecting the intersection of data, design, and narrative.

I'm Anish Dahiya, an early-career data scientist focused on shipping practical AI for operations and product teams. Since April 2025 I've been part of an applied AI squad turning research spikes into deployable models and thoughtful enablement.

Before the full-time role I cycled through internships, freelance assignments, and my final-year capstone—building forecasting systems, data quality automations, and documentation so the next builder can pick up where I leave off.

I completed a B.Tech in CSE (AIML) at Chandigarh University, contributed as a Computer Science SME at Chegg, and shipped projects like the DIMTS bus congestion predictor along the way. I still share notes from the journey to help other students navigate that leap into professional AI work.

Where it all clicked

A timeline of the decisions, experiments, and communities that shaped my craft.

  • Apr 2025 – Present

    Data Scientist, Applied AI

Joined a fast-moving ML team to ship production-ready models, tighten evaluation loops, and translate research spikes into real user impact.

  • 2024

    AI internships + capstone

Split time between research internships and my final-year project, hardening MLOps pipelines and documenting lessons for the next cohort.

  • 2023

    Bus Congestion Prediction (DIMTS)

Built a congestion prediction model for Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System to forecast bus load and improve scheduling.

  • 2022–2024

    SME — Computer Science (Chegg)

Solved curriculum-aligned problems and authored explanations for CS learners while pursuing undergrad.

  • 2021–2025

    B.Tech CSE (AIML), Chandigarh University

Specialized in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning with hands-on projects across CV, NLP, and forecasting.
